Mark Egner

Mark qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and has a broad range of litigation experience including property litigation for which Mark was recommended in the 2019 edition of the Legal 500 and described as ‘very friendly, approachable and professional’, whose ‘thoughtful approach gives clients confidence.’

Mark’s other litigation experience is varied and includes by way of example: acting for a sole company director and shareholder in relation to the defence of a high value claim brought by the administrators based on misfeasance and the breach of statutory and fiduciary duties; acting for a national provider of cold storage and logistics services in relation to a high value claim against the supplier and creditor of several forklift trucks for use at its premises; acting for a digital marketing company in relation to its dispute with a third party who unsuccessfully alleged that our client company and its directors have infringed its copyright in a television advertisement for an online gaming site; representing a leading independent utility cost management consultancy plc in relation to several cases of online copyright infringement and the infringement of its registered trade-marks; representing a temporary employment agency in relation to various high value disputes often involving difficult regulatory issues; acting for a company in relation to a claim for fraudulent misrepresentation which involved a worldwide freezing order; contempt proceedings; and the bankruptcy of the third-party individual who unsuccessfully appealed (to the Court of Appeal) against the order.
