Is your business looking to grow? Are you unsure on what options are available for accessing funding?

Come along to hear about the latest fundraising options available in the North East.

Abu Ali, Corporate Finance Director at Baldwins, will talk you through the various finance options and the process on how to access the available funds. As an experienced advisor, Abu has helped numerous organisations in the region successfully raise finance in the last few years. Abu will cover; what criteria your business will need to meet to be eligible, what you need to consider when working on a fundraising project, what you should expect from the process and how the Baldwins Corporate Finance team can support you along the way.

Following on from Abu, John Hammill, partner in Square One Law’s corporate team, will discuss the legal aspects of raising money from the North East Fund. John acted on the creation of the North East Fund and has a wealth of experience advising fund managers and investee companies on the terms of investments. John’s presentation will take you through the investment process, the normal deal documents associated with debt and equity fundraisings (and the key terms of those documents) and what these will mean for the investee company and its shareholders if they agree to them. John will also offer suggestions about how it may be possible to reduce your risk by negotiating the terms of the deal documents.
