On Wednesday 11 October 2017 at 9.00am Helen Brain, Head of IP and IT at Square One Law will be hosting an NEAA Masterclass entitled ‘Are you ready for the biggest change to data protection in 20 years?’ at RTC North, Sunderland.
Specifically developed for NEAA members to help make sense of the impending General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which will come into force in May 2018, Helen will outline the implications of GDPR, how best to prepare, what impact they will bring as well as outlining the importance of avoiding the significant threat of fines for non-compliance and the future impact GDPR could have in relation to intellectual property rights.
