Square One Law welcomes new recruits

“The quality of the people joining the Square One Law team continues and I am delighted to welcome Mark who joined us from Watson Burton just before Christmas and Hayley who joined us in the New Year from Mincoffs.”

Mark is the ninth partner to join the Newcastle based, entrepreneurial law firm which is now 18 months old and has created a different legal model that offers high service levels and increased value to clients.

Mark, who was formerly at Watson Burton, is a transactional lawyer who has strong client relationship skills with specialisms in corporate, finance and banking. He regularly advises clients across a variety of business sectors, such as motor, retail, leisure, energy and technology sectors.

The Legal 500 recommends Mark as a leading individual for Banking and Finance and notes that clients have described him as “talented”, “a safe pair of hands” and have also praised him for “his breadth of view”

Hayley graduated from Leeds University with a degree in Law in 2006 and qualified as a Solicitor in April 2011 having gained experience in litigation from her time in the Finance Litigation team at Walker Morris in Leeds and in the Dispute Resolution team at Mincoffs Solicitors in Newcastle. She joins the Commercial Litigation team at Square One Law and is assisting Robin Winskell and Gillian Hulls.
