Professor Phil Taylor: Director of the EPSRC National Centre for Energy Systems Integration (CESI), and Siemens Professor of Energy Systems. An International leading researcher and industrial expert in energy systems, electrical distribution networks, smart grids, and energy storage integration and control.

Dr Colin Herron: Managing Director of Zero Carbon Futures, Visiting Professor (Transport). Specialist in all aspects of alternative fuel vehicles and grid integration.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to a project Dr Colin Herron is supporting which will see solar panels being installed on the roof of a looked after children’s house being constructed in Bogota. Colin will be travelling to Bogota and will be helping to build the house in July.
