Square One Law assists with aerospace firm flotation

North East based commercial law firm, Square One Law, has acted for SP Angel Corporate Finance, in its capacity as nominated adviser and joint broker and Beaufort Securities as joint broker, on the initial public offering (IPO) of Strat Aero PLC on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange.

Strat Aero is an international aerospace services company headquartered in Gatwick and with operations in the United States that is focussed primarily on the provision of unmanned aerial training solutions, aviation management systems and consultancy services to the international aviation market. Strat Aero will use the net proceeds from the IPO to capitalise on opportunities resulting from the forecasted strong growth in the airline industry and in particular, the predicted almost exponential growth in the emerging unmanned aerial systems industry over the coming decade.

Square One Law’s corporate team was led by partner Jeremy Swift, Jeremy said: “We worked closely with SP Angel and Beaufort Securities to ensure that the obligations owed by them under the AIM Rules were satisfied. This involved the team liaising with Strat Aero’s legal advisers. We wish Strat Aero every success going forward and look forward to seeing their continued growth.”

Stuart Gledhill, corporate finance director at SP Angel Corporate Finance said: “We have worked with Jeremy on previous transactions and have been impressed by the level of the service provided. We look forward to working with Square One Law again in the future.”
