New Partner Strengthens Private Client Team at Square One Law

Square One Law announces the appointment of Camilla James as a partner in its private client team. Camilla specialises in succession and estate planning.

Camilla joins from Ernst & Young where she focused on the establishment of tax efficient structures for the preservation of assets and for succession planning purposes. She regularly advises clients whose affairs have an international dimension. Camilla also has considerable experience in advising on philanthropy matters, tax efficient giving and charity issues.

Camilla will head up the private client team where she will advise private clients and trustees on succession and estate planning and trust law matters. She will also advise on charity law matters, including both the establishment and ongoing legal requirements of charities, their taxation and trading.

Originally from the Borders but having spent much of her career in London and the Thames Valley, Camilla was keen to move back up North.
